Point cloud data your project can build on. At a price that will surprise you.

Rysax delivers survey-grade point clouds, 3D modeling (as-built and BIM), and industrial animations for EPCs, project teams, and large industrial companies. Fast mobilization, engineering-ready deliverables, and a cost model the big shops cannot match, without compromising quality or delivery.

Bad scan data is expensive. Slowness costs more.

Project teams have learned to live with things they should not have to: vendors that take weeks to mobilize, point clouds that arrive misregistered or incomplete, models that do not match the reality found in the field, and deliverables locked in formats their tools cannot read. And underneath it all, site documentation that stopped matching reality decades ago. We have met drawings older than the engineers reading them.

Every one of those failures lands in the same place: your schedule and your budget. Fabrication built on bad geometry. Tie-ins designed twice. Engineers waiting on data while the clock runs.

The point cloud is not the deliverable. Data your engineers can trust is.

One team, from field capture to engineering-ready models.

  • Laser scanning.

Survey-grade point clouds, registered and georeferenced, delivered in the formats your tools read. From first call to field capture in days, not weeks.

  • 3D modeling: as-built, as-is, or as-found.

Point clouds converted into intelligent 3D models and BIM, with millimetric precision, in the platforms your engineers already use: AVEVA, Autodesk (Navisworks, ReCap, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor), and SolidWorks. Ready for design, clash detection, assembly simulation, fabrication, and rigging studies.

  • 2D drawings and documentation.

Plans, sections, isometrics, and equipment layouts extracted from the point cloud and drawn to your standards. Because plenty of engineering still runs on 2D, and it should match the field too.

  • Brownfield surveys.

We capture exactly what exists before your revamp, retrofit, expansion, or tie-in, so engineering starts from reality instead of assumptions.

  • Documentation verification and updating.

Bring us your existing 3D models and 2D drawings, from your team or another vendor. We scan the site, find the gaps, and update your documentation to match the field. You keep working in the models you already own.

  • Virtual walkthroughs.

An immersive, navigable 360° copy of your site that anyone can open in a browser, and one of the most used deliverables we produce. Teams put walkthroughs to work every day: onboarding new hires before they ever set foot on site, safety inductions and hazard familiarization, maintenance and turnaround planning, work preparation and permitting, remote audits and inspections of restricted areas, and stakeholder reviews that used to require a plane ticket. Capture the site, and the entire organization can walk it.

  • 3D and 4D animations.

Rigging and lift studies, turnaround sequencing, maintenance simulations, assembly simulation, and executive presentations. When the maneuver is critical, plan it and see it before you do it. And when the operation demands more than visuals, we support it: engineering calculations and scenario simulations for complex operations are part of what we do.

A different model. Not a different quality standard.

First, the quality standard: survey-grade instruments, documented registration, millimetric 3D modeling, open formats, every license paid and every deliverable clean. The same quality bar the most demanding operators require, on every job, at every price point.

Now the model. Traditional providers come in two flavors. Some price every job to carry local engineering overhead. Others send the modeling to production centers on the far side of the world, where the cost drops but so does the communication window: your afternoon question gets answered tomorrow morning, deadlines absorb the lag, and quality lives in whatever fits a few overlapping hours.

We built a third structure: field crews based in the US, backed by our own engineering production center in Brazil, home to some of the best 3D modeling talent in the industry, and working in your time zone. Your engineers collaborate with ours in real time, all day. Questions answered while they are still fresh. Revisions the same day, not the next.

It is the high-value engineering model the world's largest EPCs use themselves, without the twelve-hour delay. The savings come from the structure of the model, not from the standard of the work.

Per project, or as a program.

  • Per project.

    • The way the industry buys, and it works: clear scope, fast quote, fixed price.
    • What changes with Rysax is what comes inside the standard route: survey-grade capture, engineering-ready models, same-day collaboration with our production team, and a number on the quote that makes the decision easier.
    • Most of our client relationships start here.
  • Rysax Flex 365, the managed scanning program.

    • If your team scans all year, stop buying scans like one-off projects.
    • Flex 365 gives you guaranteed field days throughout the year at a fixed rate, with no post-processing fees and no travel costs within a 100-mile radius of Houston, plus priority mobilization and every delivery backed by our Build-On Guarantee.

We are proud of the quality of our work. But if we ever have to redo it, that is on us.

Ask how Flex 365 works

From call to data you can build on.

  1. Send us the areas, the deliverables you need, and your deadline. Scoping starts the day you call, and we send quotes quickly.

  2. Our crew mobilizes fast and works safely inside operating sites, capturing with the right instrument for the job: FARO Focus Premium when millimeters matter, Matterport Pro3 when seeing the space matters, and certified drone partners (imaging and LiDAR) when the job calls for aerial coverage.

  3. Our production team converts the capture into the deliverables your workflow needs, collaborating with your engineers in your business hours.

  4. Registered, georeferenced data in open formats, with documented accuracy. And for Flex 365 members, every delivery is backed by the Build-On Guarantee.

Trusted where the data has to be right

  • 10M+ sq ft scanned by our team
  • Deliverables in every major engineering platform
  • Backed by the Technofink Group

Logistics & Terminals

For a global terminals operator, our team scanned and modeled a storage tank whose as-built geometry fed the structural analysis behind its safe-operation report. When the model is the evidence, precision is not optional.

Oil & Gas

Our team delivered the point cloud and BIM documentation of an operating refinery unit for one of the world's largest oil producers, cutting field permits and enabling remote measurement for every study that followed.

Building toward a digital twin?

Every dataset we deliver is built to grow. The same point clouds and models that serve your project today can become a living digital twin: the foundation for AI inspection, immersive training, and operational intelligence.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you operate?

Our field crews are based in the greater Houston area and serve Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf Coast. Is your site in another part of the US, or overseas? Not a problem. Tell us where the work is and we will be happy to assist.

How fast can you be on site?

Scoping starts the day you call, and we send quotes quickly. Mobilization depends on schedule and location; Flex 365 members get priority mobilization.

What formats do you deliver?

Point clouds in E57, RCP/RCS, LAS and other standard formats; models in AVEVA, Autodesk (Navisworks, ReCap, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor), SolidWorks, and IFC; 2D drawings to your standards. Open formats by default. You own the data.

Can you work from scans or models we already have?

Yes, both. We evaluate existing point clouds and build from them where quality allows, and we work directly in your existing 3D models and drawings to verify and update them. You should not pay twice for what you already own.

Do you work as a subcontractor to EPCs and engineering firms?

Yes, routinely. We integrate with your project team, follow your standards and delivery templates, and can deliver under your brand toward your client when needed.

What about site safety requirements?

Our crews are TWIC-carrying and experienced in live industrial environments, working under your site's permitting and safety protocols.

What is the Build-On Guarantee?

It is the warranty behind every Flex 365 delivery: if the data does not match your site within the accuracy stated in your scope, we re-scan or correct it at no cost, for 90 days after delivery. Ask us about Flex 365 to learn more.
